LŪʻAU 2025

Shana-Ann Pokipala
Owner & Chef of Uncle Glenn's Hawaiian Food
in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi
Uncle Glenn’s Hawaiian food was founded and started by Shana's parents, Glenn Silva Sr. & Ramona Silva, in 2012. Starting out as a side business aiming to serve authentic Hawaiian food, Shana quit her other job to take over after her dad's passing in 2021. Her family is most known for their squid luau, which is a recipe passed down 4 generations from her dad's family. Shana has loved sharing her dad's passion of cooking and that she is able to sell authentic Hawaiian food at an affordable price. Shana's kitchen is open in the Kāneʻohe atrium 3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 10am-4pm and does catering the other days of the week.  She also cooks all the food for the Nutridge experience, 6 days a week, rated the number 1 lūʻau on Oahu.
